Who's behind this
BonaVault is a personal project I (AJ) am building myself, currently in development. This site is mine; there's no company or team behind it yet.
What this site collects
The only thing you can hand over is your email address, through the beta signup form, along with which community link you arrived from (so I know which posts are actually working). Nothing else, and only when you submit it. The free checklists need no signup and collect nothing.
Why I need it
To confirm your signup (Brevo's double opt-in step) and to email you once when the beta opens. Not an ongoing newsletter, and your email isn't used for anything else.
What else this site loads
One thing loads on its own, without you doing anything, so it's worth naming plainly.
Analytics. I use Umami to count visits and see which pages people actually read. It's cookieless, it doesn't track you across sites, and it doesn't store anything that identifies you personally. I can see that a page was viewed, not who viewed it.
This has nothing to do with the evidence the finished product will handle. That processing happens entirely in your own browser, and this site has no upload feature at all yet.
Who else sees it
Three companies are involved, each for one narrow job. Brevo processes and stores the email signups. Umami receives the anonymous page-view analytics above. Cloudflare hosts the site, so it handles the request whenever you load a page. Nobody else. I don't sell, share, or otherwise hand any of this off to third parties.
How long it's kept
Until the beta email is sent and you've had a reasonable chance to see it, or until you ask me to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to see what I have on file for you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@ajgoesamerica.com and I'll handle it directly.
